Achievements so far: I have won 2nd and 3rd place in a pagent. In junior high school, I was on a Odssey of the Mind team at Greenville Middle School, and we placed second. I am currently volunteering at an animal shelter in Austin.

Future Aims & Goals: I plan to go to Gallaudet for 2 years then come back to Austin to attend the University of Texas. Right now I want to work with DAWCAS (an organization that works with deaf abused women and children.)

Your Advice to the Deaf Community: My advice is to never give up. You will have many obstacles to overcome, but in the end, your true beauty will shine.
